This robust pan from Koock Amsterdam® is of extra heavy quality and with the flat bottom it is very stable on any BBQ and stove.
A cast iron pan will last a lifetime if properly maintained. The advantage of cast iron is that it is a pure product without chemical layers. Koock's cast iron pans are treated with vegetable oil after polishing. The entire surface of the pan is treated with this oil. Then the pan is put into a large high temperature oven of 1500°C to bake and form a thin layer to prevent short-term rust and create an initial thin non-stick layer.
To improve the 'non-stick coating' you can burn the pan yourself and the more often you use the pan, the better the layer will become. After that, you will hardly need any maintenance and your pan will be able to fry almost everything perfectly.
